Roll up, roll up, get ready for round two of Withington’s best new night- Funraising’s very own PostBox. Following the resounding success of December’s Funraising events ArtBox and PostBox where we raised over a grand in total, we’re here to bring you yet another night of banging tunes and good vibes, all in the name of charity.
On the 8th of February, we will be taking over Withington’s Indigo to bring you what we are sure will be a cracking good night, with our ace DJs bringing you the best of jazz and eclectic drum and bass that’ll make you want to boogie all night long.
Not to mention, Bricks of LEVELZ royalty will be dotting the ‘I’s and crossing the Ts as our final act.
Check him out on Boiler Room, his talent on the turntables is truly enveloping.
All the funds from February’s PostBox will go straight back into Funraising; more specifically into our brand new night called ‘Easy on the Dijon’, a night showcasing the best acid house around, raising money for Mustard Tree (geddit). As a local charity combating poverty and homelessness in the Manchester area, it’s a worthy cause that we at Funraising are very happy to get behind.
In order to make this night as big and as brilliant as possible so that we can raise as much money as we can, we need that cash dolla for promotion- things like flyers and posters. This is where you come in. Get yourselves down to PostBox, bring a few quid to take part in our raffle, and most importantly, get all your friends to come along too, cause they won’t want to be missing out on this one.
In the meantime, if you’ve got a couple of quid going spare we would be eternally grateful and forever be thanking you in our quest not only raise money for charity but to have a fab time along the way. Our JustGiving donation page is here.
Entry to PostBox: Second Coming is only £3 OTD. And if you write your names on the event page wall, it’s only £2 and you get an extra chance to win an exclusive A2 poster print of our featured image, which is by Chris Stokes. So, you have absolutely no excuse for not coming and enjoying yourselves, but any further donations and raffle ticket sales are very much welcome.
If you would like to secure a ticket in advance to avoid any OTD disappointment, head to the PostBox: Second Coming Skiddle page.
